CHELSEA FC MUSEUM AND STADIUM TOUR - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions govern the purchase of tickets for admission to the Chelsea FC museum (the Museum) and/or a guided tour of the Site (the Stadium Tour) operated by the Club. By purchasing or using a ticket (Ticket) for admission to the Museum and/or Stadium Tour, the customer, purchaser or ticket holder (the Ticket Holder).

The Museum, situated at Stamford Bridge, Fulham Road, London, SW6 1HS (the Site), is owned and operated by us, Chelsea FC Merchandising Limited  (a company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales with company number 02779831) (the Club).If you have any queries about the Museum or the Stadium Tour, please contact tours@chelseafc.com or call 0371 811 1955 (9am-5pm Monday to Friday).

1.       Ticket Holder’s rights and obligations

1.1.    The Ticket Holder is responsible for his or her behaviour and hereby agrees not to engage in any conduct deemed unacceptable by the Club while at the Site. A non-exhaustive list of examples of unacceptable conduct are as follows:

1.1.1. foul or abusive language;

1.1.2. being under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances;

1.1.3. smoking;

1.1.4. offensive, threatening, disrespectful or violent behaviour;

1.1.5. theft of Club property;

1.1.6. bringing into the Museum and/or Stadium Tour animals (with the exception of guide dogs) or any food, drink or litter;

1.1.7. failing to adhere to the rules and regulations outlined throughout the Museum and/or Stadium Tour; and

1.1.8. entering prohibited areas e.g. the pitch.

1.2.    The Ticket Holder agrees to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the Museum and/or Stadium Tour.

1.3.    The Ticket Holder shall comply with the Ground Regulations (which are posted at the Site) at all times while on the Site.

1.4.    The Ticket Holder acknowledges and agrees that the Club may search him or her or any of their personal belongings on entry to the Site or whilst present at the Site, and to refuse entry, without liability, to any Ticket Holder refusing to submit to such a search. 

1.5.    The purchaser of a Ticket may not resell that Ticket to any third party but is permitted to buy Tickets on behalf of friends and family. 

1.6.    The Ticket Holder may call 0371 811 1955 to request a change to the date and/or time of their Museum and/or Stadium Tour visit. If the Club agrees to such a request, any changes made will not incur any extra cost. 

1.7.    The Ticket Holder may cancel their order within 14 days of the date on which the Ticket Holder purchased the relevant Tickets by contacting the Club using the information set out at the top of this Contract and informing the Club that they wish to cancel. However, the Ticket Holder may not cancel their order after they have been granted admission to the Museum and/or Stadium Tour to which their Ticket(s) relates.

1.8.    Where the Ticket Holder’s order is to attend the Museum and/or a Stadium Tour fewer than 14 days after they have placed the order, the Ticket Holder acknowledges and agrees that the Ticket Holder’s right to cancel their order will be lost when they attend the Museum or Stadium Tour as applicable.

2.       The Club’s rights and obligations

2.1.    The Club operates a zero tolerance policy and reserves the right to refuse entry to or eject any Ticket Holder, without liability, for any reason, including for a breach of clause 1.1.

2.2.    The Club is not able to provide storage facilities for any luggage, pushchairs or buggies on Site due to security reasons. Each Ticket Holder is responsible for any personal property they bring onto the Site.

2.3.    The Club may, on short notice, reschedule, change the contents of or make out of bounds some areas of the Museum and/or Stadium Tour, including because of:

2.3.1. the needs of the Club or any of its group companies; or

2.3.2. a fire or other emergency, or by order of any public authority; or

2.3.3. any other occurrence beyond the reasonable control of the Club.

2.4.    The Club reserves the right to cancel the Ticket Holder’s booking for the Museum and/or Stadium Tour for any reason.

2.5.    Where the Club cancels the Ticket Holder’s booking or reschedules or cancels any Stadium Tour, the Ticket Holder shall be entitled to accept: (a) an alternative date or time; or (b) a refund of the price paid by the purchaser of the relevant Ticket. No compensation beyond a refund under (b) will be payable by the Club.

3.       Museum and/or Stadium Tour visit

3.1.    Tickets for admission to the Museum or Stadium Tour may be booked by telephone or on the Club’s website and must be paid for in full by credit or debit card at the time of booking.

3.2.    Ticket Holders under the age of 16 will not be admitted to the Museum and/or Stadium Tour unless accompanied by an adult. 

3.3.    Tickets permit the Ticket Holder entry to the Museum and/or Stadium Tour on a one-off basis on the date and during the time period shown on the Ticket.

3.4.    The Ticket Holder is advised to arrive at least 15 minutes before the allocated start time for their Stadium Tour.  If the Ticket Holder is late for the Stadium Tour, the Club will endeavour to move the Ticket Holder onto the next available tour, but cannot guarantee that this will be possible. 

3.5.    The Club has facilities to allow disabled Ticket Holders to the Museum and/or on a Stadium Tour. Disabled Ticket Holders should contact the Club using the information provided at the top of this Contract in advance to make any additional arrangements necessary for their visit.

4.       Liability

4.1.    The Club does not exclude or limit its liability to the Ticket Holder where it would be unlawful to do so. For example, the Club does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by its (or its employees’, agents’ or subcontractors’) negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

4.2.    Subject to clause 4.1:

4.2.1. the Club shall only be liable for loss and damage the Ticket Holder suffers as a foreseeable result of a breach by the Club of the Contract.  Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the Contract was made, both the Club and the Ticket Holder knew it might happen.

4.2.2. the Club shall not be liable for:

(a)         any loss, damage or theft of personal property brought onto the Site by any Ticket Holder; or

(b)         death or personal injury; or

(c)         any other loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

4.3.    Subject to clause 4.1, the maximum liability of the Club shall be limited to the price paid by the purchaser for the Ticket(s) to which the relevant claim relates.

5.       Other important terms

5.1.    This Contract and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this Contract.

5.2.    The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to this Contract and no person other than the Ticket Holder and the Club shall have any rights under it.

5.3.    The Club may assign or transfer this Contract with the Ticket Holder to a third party at any time without notice.
